Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions to determine appropriate treatment protocols.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs and goals, ensuring they are modified as progress is assessed.
• Utilizing therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving mobility, restoring strength, and expanding range of motion for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic patient records, documenting treatment progress and modifications to ensure continuity of care.
• Regularly monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare team members to provide integrated and coordinated care for each patient.
• Educating patients and their families on treatment plans, preventive care, and at-home exercises to support rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to patient care.
