Work Environment

This position is based onsite in the various homes of our clients within the Wellington area, allowing for individualized attention and the creation of a trusting therapist-client relationship. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by gathering relevant data from the patient, their physician, and interdisciplinary team meetings when applicable.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the continuum of care, setting specific, measurable goals, and implementing the prescribed interventions.
• Perform regular re-evaluations and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and changing needs.
• Educate patients and family members about treatment protocols and home exercises to enhance recovery and independence.
• Utilize specific equipment safely and effectively, ensuring patients understand its purpose and benefits as part of their therapy.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of treatment sessions and ensure timely billing practices are upheld.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance by adhering to all relevant state regulations and organizational policies while maintaining a strong focus on the patient's best interests.
• Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, recognizing when patients achieve optimal benefits.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy. A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is mandated, with the acceptance of a temporary permit for new graduates. Candidates must also possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated skills in therapy techniques, patient assessment, and therapeutic modalities are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
