Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' conditions, developing personalized treatment plans that focus on outpatient orthopedics with a special emphasis on spine surgeries.
• Implementing therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve patients' functional mobility, strength, and overall health.
• Documenting patient progress accurately in electronic records, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and reporting standards.
• Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively and address any concerns that may arise.
• Maintaining professional relationships with all associates and vendors while adhering to confidentiality and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Easy Start Therapy, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, particularly those related to spine surgery. Your focus will be on adults who require rehabilitative care to regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will play a critical role in guiding them through their recovery by providing evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (MSPT or DPT preferred for candidates graduating post-2003).
• Current and active Florida physical therapy licensure in good standing is mandatory.
• CPR certification must be obtained upon hire and remain current throughout employment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedics is essential, with specific exposure to cases involving spine surgery being a significant advantage. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are highly desirable.
