Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate orthopedic conditions, understanding the severity and implications for rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices to achieve optimal functional outcomes for each patient.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including hands-on manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise regimens, to enhance recovery processes.
• Provide continuous support and education to patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and progress, ensuring a team-oriented therapeutic approach.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving health needs.
• Engage in regular team meetings to collaboratively assess patient progress and share insights related to effective treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain issues, athletic injuries, and degenerative diseases. Our patient population includes diverse age groups from young athletes to older adults, each requiring customized therapeutic plans to promote healing and improved activity levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster patient rapport and facilitate effective communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to a patient-centered approach and a passion for improving patient outcomes through quality care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient care efficiently.
• Familiarity with advanced manual therapy techniques and modalities relevant to orthopedic conditions.
• Certifications in specialized therapeutic areas (e.g., Dry Needling, McKenzie Method) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
