Work Environment

This position requires providing care onsite, focusing on home care services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' orthopedic needs, determining their functional limitations, medical history, and personal goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to each patient's specific requirements, ensuring alignment with their health objectives.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to enhance recovery rates and improve mobility.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changes in condition or objectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to offer comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention and self-care techniques, empowering them to participate actively in their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will work with individuals across a wide age range, from young adults to seniors, tailoring interventions to meet the diverse needs of these populations. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Possession of a valid state license/certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Proven clinical assessment skills and experience in diagnosing orthopedic conditions effectively.
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities, allowing for efficient collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience
