Work Environment

Our physical therapists work onsite in a supportive clinic environment, primarily within a home care setting. This unique combination allows our therapists to provide personalized services directly within the community. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adapt your focus based on patient needs and recovery progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for each patient to develop customized therapy plans that reflect their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, tailored therapeutic exercises, and clear patient education to help patients understand their conditions and recovery processes.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to optimize outcomes and ensure safety during treatment.
• Maintain accurate and insightful documentation of patient sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to facilitate effective communication and continuity of care.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment strategy that addresses all aspects of a patient's care.
• Enhance patient motivation and success by cultivating a nurturing and positive environment that encourages open communication and trust.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working predominantly with patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, which includes those recovering from surgery, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will help a diverse population regain confidence in their movements and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current or pending Florida Physical Therapy license to practice.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, adapting treatments to meet their evolving needs.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, preferably in an outpatient or home care environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice standards and the latest rehabilitation techniques to provide cutting-edge patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
