Work Environment

This role is conducted onsite within our vibrant outpatient office setting, where our small, collaborative team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our structured work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, goals, and medical histories to devise tailored treatment regimens that maximize mobility and function.
• Facilitate an efficient patient throughput by managing a caseload of approximately two patients per hour, ensuring quality care without compromising attention to individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patients' recovery journeys, offering treatments that minimize reliance on medications and reduce the need for surgical interventions.
• Implement and adjust rehabilitation programs based on patient progress and outcomes, providing ongoing motivation and support to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome assessments, using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create cohesive strategies that benefit patients across various treatment modalities.
• Educate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term wellness, strength, flexibility, and balance.

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on providing tailored care that respects each patient's unique circumstances and goals, fostering an environment where they feel valued and empowered to discuss their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in Boca Raton, FL without any disciplinary actions.
• Proven ability to employ manual therapy techniques effectively, with a focus on individualized patient care.
• Strong foundation in developing and implementing exercise regimens for diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with EMR platforms, particularly WebPT, is preferred to enhance workflow efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is required.
• Experience with various treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques to address a wide array of patient needs.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient communication and interpersonal skills, essential for fostering trust and rapport.

Compensation and Benefits
