Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising physical therapists, ensuring effective therapy protocols tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor and progress patients through various stages of their rehabilitation journeys, employing updated techniques and practices to optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress according to facility policies to maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance.
• Educate patients and their families about self-management strategies, exercises, and activities for home, enhancing their understanding and involvement in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and staying proactive in discussing patient progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development through mentorship, workshops, and training opportunities to refine your skills continually.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, the patient population primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic injuries, sports-related issues, and those recovering from neurological conditions. We cater to a diverse demographic, including young athletes, working professionals, and seniors, each requiring compassionate care and tailored rehabilitation programs to restore function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A current and active Florida Physical Therapy License.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, ideally in an outpatient setting.
• Ability to navigate electronic medical records systems proficiently to ensure the documentation is timely and accurate.
• Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and virtually, to foster strong relationships with patients and team members.
• Capability to work efficiently in both remote and in-person care environments, showcasing adaptability to changing modalities of service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing telehealth technology for consultations and follow-ups, allowing for comprehensive patient care.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and modalities specific to orthopedic injuries.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective home exercise programs that empower patients in their recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
