Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine their physical therapy needs, with a focus on orthopedic challenges.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that cater to individual recovery goals, using a mix of therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, providing education on techniques that enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to improve patient care and health outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and well-equipped therapy environment, preparing necessary tools and following safety protocols diligently.
• Stay abreast of the latest best practices in physical therapy and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our client population varies in age and activity level, presenting a diverse range of needs. Your expertise will be essential in tailoring treatment methods to cater specifically to each individual's lifestyle and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• A patient-centric approach, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration within a healthcare framework.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, ideally within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
