Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Pompano Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This physical therapist role operates entirely onsite within our outpatient office. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients one-on-one in a welcoming environment designed to facilitate healing and recovery. You will be responsible for managing a patient caseload effectively, aiming to maximize therapeutic outcomes during each session.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address patients' unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for focused, quality interactions with each patient.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that encompass various interventions, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's specific requirements and recovery goals.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress and mobility improvements.
• Employ effective communication strategies to keep patients motivated and engaged in their recovery process.
• Assist in reducing dependency on medications through holistic approaches and explore alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Document all patient care services accurately and timely to maintain high-quality records and facilitate effective interprofessional communication.
• Foster collaboration and consultation with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily consist of individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Our team focuses on restoring mobility and improving quality of life for active adults and seniors, dealing with a range of conditions from sports-related injuries to chronic pain management. You will play a critical role in guiding them through their recovery journeys, utilizing evidence-based practices to tailor your approach to each patient's unique situation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist is required, with an untarnished professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exceptional competence in developing and implementing specific exercise protocols.
• Proficient in the use of EMR Software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing customized rehabilitation plans based on thorough patient assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire patients to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Compensation and Benefits
