Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess functional ability, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate appropriate therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to promote recovery from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.
• Educate and empower patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, wellness strategies, and postoperative care to ensure adherence and understanding.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to facilitate seamless communication and coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards to uphold patient safety and ethical practice within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, and chronic pain management. We serve a diverse clientele that ranges from athletes looking to regain peak performance to older adults requiring support in everyday mobility. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing the functional outcomes and overall well-being of our patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven track record of successful rehabilitation outcomes.
• Proficient in creating and modifying rehabilitation plans tailored specifically to orthopedic conditions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for effective collaboration and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience
