Work Environment

Your work will take place onsite in our outpatient office in the sunny locale of Fort Lauderdale, FL, a hub for healthcare innovation and community-oriented wellness. You will work a schedule from Monday to Friday, primarily from 2 PM to 8 PM, providing the perfect work-life balance allowing you to enjoy all the vibrant outdoor activities Fort Lauderdale has to offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team to facilitate patient engagement and successful outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on the latest clinical practices, maintaining compliance with laws and ethical standards.
• Assess and monitor patient progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, executing adjustments to care plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective rehabilitation techniques and self-management strategies for continued improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize daily caseloads and allocate resources efficiently to maximize patient care and departmental flow.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with organizational protocols and standards to ensure smooth continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to children requiring physical assessment and rehabilitation. You will treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic issues, neurological challenges, and recovery needs after surgeries. By creating a supportive environment, you will help each patient achieve their physical goals and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
• A strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly involving diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
