This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, where you will work closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, restoring function, and maximizing the performance of clients based on their unique capabilities.
• Evaluate patients' functional levels through a series of assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint diagnostics, and functional ability tests to tailor treatments effectively.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring they are executing treatment plans accurately and providing high-quality care.
• Conduct initial evaluations and regular assessments of clients, documenting progress and modifying care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and physical agents such as traction and massage to assist clients in their recovery journey.
• Evaluate and recommend adaptive devices like prosthetics and orthotics, ensuring they meet the client's needs and comfort.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises, equipment use, and strategies to maintain and improve their physical health.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, adhering to compliance and agency standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient population at our outpatient facility includes individuals recovering from surgery, athletes seeking rehabilitation from injuries, and older adults requiring support for mobility challenges. We adapt our treatments to each client's unique needs, emphasizing functional independence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy licensure in Florida, in good standing.
• One year of relevant professional experience in physical therapy within an outpatient or similar setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with patients and their families.
• A proactive approach to patient engagement, emphasizing a commitment to exceptional care experiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while demonstrating leadership when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of therapy techniques and modalities.
• Background in manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or sports medicine.
• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Familiarity with treatment documentation systems and electronic medical records.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
