Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals who are equally dedicated to advancing patient health. Our clinic is designed to provide an accessible and supportive atmosphere, equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. Your shift will typically be scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 3 pm to 7 pm, with a shorter day shift on Fridays. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and capabilities, leading to accurate diagnosis and effective treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that include measurable goals tailored to the individual needs of each patient, taking into consideration injuries, medical histories, and physician referrals.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and modalities to improve mobility, reduce pain, and educate patients and their caregivers about ongoing care and self-management.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment responses in compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure consistent quality of care.
• Participate in departmental productivity standards, ensuring a balanced caseload while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
• Engage in regular communication with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Actively contribute to staff training and professional education initiatives, sharing knowledge and experiences to enhance team capabilities and patient care standards.
• Assist in operational management tasks as needed, such as departmental scheduling, supplies management, and budgeting oversight, contributing to the efficiency of clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position requires proficiency in physical therapy protocols for a wide range of patients, from neonates to geriatric populations. You will encounter diverse cases, including sports injuries, post-surgical recoveries, chronic pain management, and neurological rehabilitation. Your ability to provide tailored care to different demographics will be essential to the rehabilitation process, allowing you to positively impact our patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks associated with patient care, including lifting, standing, and conducting therapeutic exercises.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurological rehabilitation is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
