Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, including detailed assessments of their physical conditions and functional abilities.
• Design personalized treatment programs based on physician referrals and individual patient needs, with a focus on achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric concerns, and sports-related ailments.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring patients receive dedicated attention and care tailored to their progress and goals.
• Offer educational guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, therapy techniques, and self-care strategies to empower them throughout the healing process.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize care delivery.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and patient satisfaction, actively engaging with patients to enhance their therapy experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on outpatient therapy, serving a diverse patient base that includes individuals recovering from surgery, active individuals with sports injuries, children with developmental challenges, and patients with chronic pain or neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with the intention to pursue licensure in the state of Florida.
• Current State License to practice physical therapy, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
