Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Confluent Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, you will:

• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Evaluate patients' physical capabilities using advanced diagnostic and prognostic assessments, ensuring precise treatment strategies are implemented.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment plans, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and standards.
• Conduct functional assessments and necessary home modifications, aiming to enhance patients' independence and overall quality of life.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage treatments, as well as utilize various physical agents for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment responses, and modifications to the care plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and the use of therapeutic devices, fostering an understanding of their physical therapy program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, ensuring that each patient receives individualized care reflecting their personal rehabilitation goals and challenges.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude toward team-based care.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, ideally with exposure to both acute care and home care environments. A strong background in evidence-based practice methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
