Work Environment

As a part of an onsite team, you will thrive in a collaborative environment where communication among healthcare professionals is paramount. You will work closely with occupational therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff to create a supportive atmosphere focused on optimal patient outcomes. Your working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, including assessing mobility restrictions, pain levels, and overall physical health.
• Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and patient preferences to set clear recovery goals.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques and design targeted exercise programs aimed at restoring function and enhancing mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, injury prevention strategies, and self-care techniques to maintain progress after therapy ends.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment techniques as necessary to ensure optimal recovery pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population ranges from young athletes to active seniors, each needing a tailored rehabilitation approach that addresses their unique challenges and emphases recovery strategies that promote long-term mobility and health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient treatments and progress reports.
• Certification in specialty areas such as orthopedics or sports therapy will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
