Work Environment

Your work will take place onsite at our state-of-the-art facility within a hospital environment in Fort Lauderdale, allowing you to engage with a diverse patient population. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, enabling a structured yet flexible schedule. This setting encourages teamwork and communication with other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care model that emphasizes patient-centric treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and therapy needs.
• Manage and treat a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and effective interventions.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans that employ evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Design tailored exercise programs that empower patients to safely improve their strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Apply cost-effective treatment approaches that reduce reliance on medications and may eliminate the need for surgical interventions.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients in their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that promotes health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, providing rehabilitation services that assist in recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, postoperative care, and other related conditions. As a Physical Therapist in our clinic, you will play a critical part in reshaping patient lives by restoring function and mobility through tailored treatments. Your interactions with patients will be guided by our commitment to compassionate care, striving to enhance their daily living activities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program formulation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinically sound practices.
• Experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
