As a full-time member of our outpatient orthopedic center, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients recover their mobility and improve their quality of life. This onsite position is based at our modern rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Pompano Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs and establish individualized treatment goals to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Manage a targeted caseload by providing one-on-one treatment for each patient each hour, ensuring focused, quality care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that encompass various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure effective recovery.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment procedures meticulously in our electronic medical records system, particularly using WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Guide patients in developing their own fitness and wellness programs, encouraging lifestyle changes that promote health and resilience.
• Provide patient education regarding therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and ways to enhance their health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on helping patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages—from young athletes to older adults—ensuring that each patient receives tailored attention that addresses their specific recovery needs. Your empathetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will inspire trust and motivation in those you treat.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. A Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Maintain a clean professional record free of disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and knowledge of exercise protocols.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient use of electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with treatment protocols for sports-related injuries and post-operative recovery will be beneficial.
• A history of collaboration in multidisciplinary teams enhancing patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
