Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced technology and treatment modalities that cater to diverse patient needs. Our clinic primarily accepts private medical insurance, ensuring a streamlined process for our patients.

Work Environment

Situated in the welcoming city of Coral Springs, Florida, our rehabilitation facility provides a comfortable and well-organized environment for both staff and patients. The center operates onsite with an approachable and friendly team atmosphere. As part of our collaborative healthcare team, you will work closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, fostering an environment built on mutual respect and continuous learning. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mobility issues and establish individualized care plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a typical caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality attention to each patient's needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at restoring motion, improving strength, and enhancing functional performance.
• Collaborate closely with patients to set achievable rehabilitation goals, offering guidance and motivation throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to foster recovery and reduce overall medication reliance.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress meticulously, documenting all treatment sessions accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Work with a multidisciplinary health team, consulting with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Educate patients on wellness and injury prevention, promoting a proactive approach to health and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves a diverse population with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, individuals recovering from sports injuries, and patients managing chronic pain. We are committed to understanding each patient's unique circumstances and tailoring our interventions to their specific needs, ensuring personalized and effective care from initial evaluation through discharge.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board actions or disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills complemented by proficiency in therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Experience or familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain comprehensive and accurate records.

Preferred Experience

Applicants with at least two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy are preferred, allowing for swift integration into our practice and immediate contribution to patient care. Previous roles in similar environments focusing on rehabilitation post-surgery will enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
