In this pivotal role, you will work closely with patients to enhance their quality of life through targeted physical therapy interventions, focusing on restoring movement and improving overall physical performance. Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Facility offers an onsite, patient-centric work setting. The environment is collaborative and supportive, promoting teamwork among two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). With a daily schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, work-life balance is emphasized, ensuring you have ample time to focus on each patient effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to identify their rehabilitation goals and craft tailored care plans to meet their specific needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services grounded in evidence-based practices while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to support patients in regaining mobility.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to track treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Foster a motivating environment that encourages patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions effectively. Your ability to connect with and understand each patient's unique journey will be crucial to their rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is essential.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida is required to practice.
• Evidence of a clean licensure record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement comprehensive exercise plans.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management processes.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care settings. Previous experience with diverse patient populations and a solid understanding of the latest treatment methodologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
