Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art outpatient facilities. You will be part of a dynamic team working alongside physicians, nurses, and other therapists. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific physical therapy needs and deficits, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate care plans that enhance patient recovery.
• Provide therapy services that will likely extend across multiple clinics within the Boynton Beach area, thus ensuring coverage where needed based on our staffing requirements.
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise regimens, injury prevention strategies, and techniques to improve daily living activities.
• Promote safe mobility and proactive discharge planning in partnership with case management and social work to ensure smooth transitions from care facilities to home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on an array of outpatient clients dealing with orthopedic issues, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility challenges. Your approach will be patient-centric, ensuring each individual receives the support and education necessary to make lasting improvements in their health and functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current or eligibility for a Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida prior to hire.
• Strong foundation in physical therapy principles developed through 2 or more years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) is a mandatory requirement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams alike.
• A willingness to travel between various facilities, with travel costs reimbursed or provided for by the company.
• A flexible approach to scheduling to accommodate occasional needs for weekend or holiday shifts.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of relevant experience in acute care or outpatient settings is preferred, although recent graduates demonstrating strong clinical rotations in their training will also be considered.
• Experience in developing patient-centered rehabilitation plans for diverse patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
