Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and needs, particularly related to orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are in line with the physician's directives, agency policies, and the highest professional standards.
• Deliver hands-on therapy services, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, in-home care strategies, and exercises to promote recovery and prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and coordinated efforts in patient care.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and any relevant communications with medical professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves orthopedic patients, providing treatment for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will play an integral role in supporting patients through their recovery journey, often working with individuals of all age groups who are eager to regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an outpatient therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments, as well as proficiency in the latest therapy modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficient word processing and computer skills to keep accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with various age groups and diverse patient backgrounds will be highly regarded. Familiarity with digital documentation systems and telehealth platforms can enhance the efficiency of care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
