Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily in patients' homes, providing direct and personalized therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment. Your role entails assessing the specific needs and conditions of each patient, allowing you to craft and implement effective therapeutic strategies under varying circumstances. Our collaborative approach emphasizes communication and teamwork, ensuring that you have the support of both clinical and administrative staff as you deliver care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing evidence-based practices to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Devise individualized treatment regimens that address mobility challenges, pain management, and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive technologies, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding treatment progress, concerns, and adjustments to care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on effective home programs and lifestyle adaptations to ensure continuity of care and maximize independence.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with industry standards and insurance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds, customizing your approach to align with each patient's unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic or home care context.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A deep commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to all patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse patient populations, including geriatric patients and those with complex medical histories.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Specialized training in advanced therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling, aquatic therapy, or sports-specific rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
