Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatments to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, enhance muscle function, and maintain optimal functioning based on a prescribed care plan.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of patient-centered treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests related to muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Assess the home environments of patients to recommend modifications that promote independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and assist patients during non-manual exercises to aid in rehabilitation.
• Implement traction, massage, and utilize various physical agents in treatment protocols.
• Evaluate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing recommendations for any necessary adjustments.
• Play an active role in the development and continuous updating of individualized care plans.
• Document patients' progress, adjustments in treatment plans, and any notable changes in condition through clinical records.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team conferences to collaborate on comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques, device usage, and overall physical therapy program goals.
• Complete clinical documentation and relevant orders promptly, adhering to organizational policies.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and other team members to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Undertake additional assignments as necessary to align with the goals and objectives of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

• Exceptional expertise in various manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly with systems like Web PT for accurate documentation.
• A strong foundation in contemporary physical therapy methods and an understanding of evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
• A demonstrated history of success in managing complex cases and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with community resources and referrals that can assist in patient recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
