Work Environment

Your work setting will be an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with modern therapy tools and equipment designed to facilitate effective patient interventions. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a work-life balance in the vibrant community of West Palm Beach. Here, you will engage actively with both patients and colleagues, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and develop personalized care plans aimed at improving movement and function.
• Deliver personalized therapy sessions, seeing approximately 2-3 patients per hour, using a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Implement treatment strategies that are cost-effective and prioritize improving client mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to consult on complex cases and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress while making necessary adjustments to care plans to reflect changes in their physical condition.
• Provide education and motivation to patients, helping them recognize the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through improved strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our typical clientele includes individuals seeking to regain strength and functionality after surgeries, sports injuries, or various musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will significantly impact their rehabilitation journey, as you will guide them through personalized treatment and recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist License without any board or disciplinary actions against it.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, specifically as a Physical Therapist.
• Proficient in manual therapy skills and therapeutic exercises.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.
• A strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
