Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's distinct needs.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including ongoing monitoring of medication efficacy and making necessary dosage adjustments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using diverse therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, reporting on response to medication, therapy outcomes, and symptom changes.
• Conduct regular follow-up appointments to reassess treatment plans, address any concerns, and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision to enhance collaborative care and promote best practices.
• Stay current with developments in psychiatric care through continuous education and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
