Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU travel assignment in Geneva, New York. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 23-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,078 to $2,244 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 rotating (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring hemodynamics and respiratory status.
- Manage life support equipment, administer medications, IV therapies, and vasoactive infusions per hospital protocol.
- Interpret patient data, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to the multidisciplinary team as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to implement and adjust care plans.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Perform comprehensive neuro assessments (NIHSS as appropriate) and address age-specific needs for adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- NIHSS proficiency and CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in an ICU setting and handle confidential information with professionalism
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
