Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must hold a valid and active teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
• Background in Special Education (SPED), preferably with experience supporting moderate to severe student populations
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for fostering a safe, creative, and inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students in a moderate to severe needs elementary classroom
• Implement engaging, adaptable lesson plans in line with each student’s IEP
• Monitor progress and maintain clear, consistent communication with parents and faculty
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
