This position offers a night shift schedule. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, including reading telemetry rhythms. A patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6 is expected. The clinician will need to administer cardiac medications and manage drips without titration. Experience in cardiac care is essential, including pre and post-operative care. The facility serves a diverse adult patient population with various cardiac conditions. Additional tasks include managing central lines, chest tubes, and IVs. Nurses should demonstrate competence in BIPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration. The team includes interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals. The environment encourages collaboration and comprehensive patient care. Required certifications include BCLS and NIH, and ACLS and CPI are preferred. Nurses should possess the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage telemetry monitoring. This role does not require on-call duty but requires 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week period.
