Payroll Specialist

Position: Payroll Specialist An Infrastructure services company in NE Fort Worth is adding a Payroll Specialist to their team! Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay $28-33/hr Position Responsibilities Assist the Payroll Manager in processing weekly payroll for multiple companies and branch locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (1500 employees) Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reporting for multi-company reconciliation Serve as backup for preparing and submitting certified payroll reports in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and applicable prevailing wage laws Assist in completing and submitting WH-347 forms (or state equivalents) and statements of compliance Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws (FLSA, state-specific requirements, etc.) Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation Position Qualifications 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-company or multi-location environment Working knowledge of certified payroll and Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations and deduction processing Experience supporting multi-state payroll compliance a MUST Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar systems) and MS Office - especially Excel Experience in construction, government contracting or a similarly regulated industries Express Employment Associate Benefits Weekly Pay Qualify for Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Referral Bonuses #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East
