Back Payroll Specialist Payroll Haltom City , Texas Fort Worth:Fin/Acct/HR:Direct Hire Sep 1, 2026 Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end, in-house payroll for employees across multiple states(GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and TX) Ensure accurate payroll calculations including earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and adjustments Manage and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts Handle multi-state payroll tax compliance, filings, and payroll tax research Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance Support month-end and year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation and audits Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information Assist with process improvements and payroll best practices Qualifications 3+ years of payroll processing and payroll accounting experience Strong multi-state payroll experience required CPP a plus ADP or Paylocity experience a plus Understanding of payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Thomas, Edwards Group
