This role involves providing patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical units, with a focus on trauma and orthopedic patients. The position requires flexibility to float between units, adhering to unit protocols and providing high-quality nursing support on nights with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 1 year of Medical-Surgical (MS) experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and be available to start on 08/24/2026 with an end date of 11/23/2026. Qualification verification includes Certification, Education, and Location requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic and trauma patients is highly preferred, including procedures such as heparin and Protonix drips, and working with polytrauma, cervical fractures, downgraded traumatic brain injury, and burns. Additional Information: The role involves working with telemonitoring equipment such as TeleEMR Meditech, and requires adherence to unit dress code (Royal Blue scrubs). The candidate must be punctual for huddles at 06:45/18:45 and be prepared for weekend and on-call commitments, totaling four weekends.
