Billing Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Job Title

Job Overview: Pay Range: $30.40hr - $35.40hr

Responsibilities

Financial Data And Reconciliation:

• Compile, validate, and support financial data uploads to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for cash application and reconciliation with daily bank statements.
• Ensure alignment between bank records and internal financial systems.
• Audit vendor payments to verify accuracy of remittances, rates, and data mappings.

Account And Vendor Management:

• Establish and maintain relationships with account and vendor points of contact.
• Develop a strong understanding of client product and rate requirements.
• Manage and resolve rate discrepancies and vendor account issues.
• Ensure all payment structures and rate requirements are clearly documented and communicated.

Reporting And Data Analysis:

• Monitor and track manual billing data and enrollment system updates.
• Generate ad hoc queries and reports for stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates and progress reports.
• Support internal and external audit requests.

Systems Support And Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot system and user issues in collaboration with vendors, account teams, and technical resources.
• Identify root causes and recommend solutions or workarounds for low to mid-complexity issues.
• Ensure controls are accurate, efficient, and compliant with organizational standards.
• Track and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders.

Testing And Quality Assurance:

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for vendor changes and system releases.
• Identify defects and ensure proper resolution prior to production deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business-related roles.
• In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Skills And Abilities

• Strong data entry and numerical analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and financial systems.
