Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique needs of each client, including families, couples, and children.

• Deliver direct counseling services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual or family’s situation and goals.

• Facilitate sessions focusing on relationship counseling, family therapy, and addressing various mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participating in regular care meetings to ensure integrated support for families and effective communication.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing a range of psychological concerns. The focus will be on fostering healthy relationships and navigating challenges related to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Your role is crucial in supporting clients as they work toward their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to practice within your clinical domain.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• 1 year or more of experience specifically working with families, couples, or children in a mental health capacity.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to effectively respond in crisis situations, providing immediate support as needed.

• Familiarity with various mental health disorders, family dynamics, and relational issues, along with knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
