Job Description

1st Shift:

Sunday through Friday
Start Time: 6:00 AM
End Time: Until production is complete

2nd Shift:

Monday through Friday
Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Time: Until production is complete

Please note: There is no set end time for this shift is based on production needs.

Work Environment:

Cold production/manufacturing environment
Meat production and processing facility

Required PPE:

Steel toe or composite toe boots are required on Day 1
Tennis shoes or regular shoes are not permitted

Job Summary:

The Production Associate I is responsible for supporting daily production operations within a meat processing facility. Duties include packing, palletizing, staging products, and assisting with machine operations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Pack and palletize finished products
Stage products for shipping or further processing
Assist with production machinery and machine operations as needed
Support meat production and processing activities
Maintain cleanliness of production areas and raw product storage rooms
Remove empty boxes, trash, and debris from work areas
Follow all company safety procedures and food safety guidelines
Report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to management
Work collaboratively as part of a production team
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications:

0–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, and work for long shifts
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
