JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lansing, MI Service Setting: Hospital Based Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 7a 5p Call Ratio: 1:3 COVERAGE DATES Dec 07, 2026 Dec 13, 2026 Dec 21, 2026 Dec 27, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Primarily Adult (Geriatric frequent) Average Daily Volume: 8 cases per day Case Mix: Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level I Support Staff Available: Manager, two APPs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (fast track available) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Angioplasty Stent placement Embolization Needle biopsy Thrombolysis UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization) Additional: Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology Licenses: Active Michigan Medical License (no compact accepted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified Duties & Responsibilities Provide interventional radiology services in a hospital setting. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE. Participate in Q3 call rotation covering weekdays and weekends. Collaborate with a team of physicians and APPs to manage patient care. Handle orthopedics, gynecology, and urology cases as needed.
