You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art surgical center located in the picturesque community of Manlius. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments through detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to arrive at accurate diagnoses.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians, promoting the best possible health outcomes for each patient.
• Perform minor surgical interventions and procedures, such as suturing wounds or administering injections, under the supervision of senior physicians.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date medical records, ensuring that all patient interactions, treatment plans, and follow-up care are documented according to regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients on their medical conditions, assist them in understanding treatment options, and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications that support overall health.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to continuously improve the quality of care we provide and to share best practices among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily care for patients presenting with a variety of urgent health concerns, ranging from minor injuries and illnesses to more acute health challenges requiring prompt intervention. You will serve a broad demographic, including children and adults, and will focus on delivering care that is tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) demonstrating your professional competency.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to function independently while working within the scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a focus on urgent care or emergency medicine being highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters effectively and efficiently.
• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare setting that prioritizes teamwork and innovative care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

Hawthorne Health Care Partners, Inc. offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
