Blissful Nurse Specialists is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team in Manlius, New York. In this full-time role, you will provide high-quality, holistic medical care to patients across all age groups within an outpatient office setting. Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in the scenic town of Manlius, New York. You will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment, engaging with healthcare professionals who share your commitment to community welfare. The role entails a work schedule primarily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate occasional evening clinics and participation in community outreach events during weekends. Expect to work an average of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and routine screenings to understand and address each patient's health needs.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate preventive care and health promotion strategies.
• Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to design and implement health education programs that address pressing health issues and improve population health awareness.
• Provide culturally sensitive care, respecting and addressing the diverse backgrounds of patients while advocating for their rights to receive equitable healthcare services.
• Handle the coordination of referrals and follow-up care, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients leaving our office.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in community outreach efforts through events and health fairs, directly providing health screenings and educational resources to underserved populations.
• Stay informed on community health trends, best practices, and relevant healthcare policies to continuously enhance the care provided.

Your role will focus on serving a diverse patient population in Manlius and surrounding areas, many of whom come from underserved communities. By developing strong patient relationships, you will gain insights into their unique healthcare challenges, allowing you to tailor your approach effectively. Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with an active state nursing license.
• A Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program, with clinical training as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• A strong commitment to serving community health alongside a track record of advocating for diverse and vulnerable populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to skillfully navigate conversations with patients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with quality assurance standards in outpatient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in community health, public health settings, or family practice.
• Experience with health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Active involvement in community engagement or public health advocacy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
