About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Data, Analytics, and AI Strategy to provide enterprise leadership in advancing a College-wide strategy for trusted data, actionable insights, and responsible AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the College's data, analytics, and AI strategy in alignment with institutional priorities, student success goals, and long-term digital transformation efforts. This role involves strengthening data governance, quality, privacy, security, and responsible AI practices, as well as overseeing enterprise reporting, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights. The AVP will also serve as a strategic advisor, identify innovative AI applications, and partner across various academic and administrative areas to ensure high-value, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Candidates for this position should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree preferred, and at least 7 years of leadership experience in data strategy, analytics, institutional research, business intelligence, AI strategy, or related fields. The role requires a strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics tools, and emerging AI capabilities, as well as experience in advancing data governance and responsible AI practices. The ideal candidate will have the ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies, strong executive presence, and excellent communication skills. Strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to promoting an inclusive environment are also essential. The AVP will be expected to mentor and develop data and analytics teams, champion a culture of data-informed decision-making, and prepare executive-level materials that connect data and AI work to institutional priorities and outcomes.
