Pride Health is seeking candidates for an Exercise Physiologist  opportunity in Anaheim, CA 92802. This is a 12 months assignment with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
• Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.
• Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate writing of reports, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, either manually or through use of dictation equipment.
• Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in exercise science/kinesiology/exercise physiology.
• 2+ years experience, industrial setting experience a plus.
• Non-Expired Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification REQUIRED.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

• Job Title:  Exercise Physiologist
• Location:  Anaheim, CA 92802
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Schedule:  This is a 40 hour per week position, with a schedule that remains TBD. There is a possibility of four 10hr shifts per week or five 8hr shifts per week. Schedule is currently TBD. Night, evening and weekend WORK will be required; and may not be consistent from week to week.
• Pay: $35/hour
