About the Role

Simplehuman is seeking a Logistics Coordinator who will work closely with warehouse operations, customer service, planning, and transportation partners to resolve shipment issues, maintain compliance with customer routing requirements, and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Carson, CA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound e-commerce and B2B shipments across multiple warehouse locations.
• Schedule parcel, LTL, FTL, and transfer shipments with approved carriers.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, shipping labels, and other transportation documents.
• Review customer routing guides and ensure shipping activities comply with customer requirements and company SOPs.
• Create, update, and maintain logistics SOPs and process documentation.
• Analyze transportation rates and recommend cost-effective shipping methods for transfers, wholesale, and retail orders.
• Research transportation invoices, routing discrepancies, and retailer chargebacks, preparing documentation to dispute invalid claims.
• Monitor shipment status and coordinate with carriers to resolve pickup, transit, or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Planning, and Warehouse Operations to ensure customer priorities and shipping deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations to resolve inventory, system, transportation, or order issues that may delay fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory availability for priority customers and communicate potential fulfillment risks.
• Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records within ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
• Support inventory reconciliation efforts by researching shipment discrepancies and inventory variances.
• Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, shipping accuracy, and overall logistics processes.
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, LTL, FTL, and retailer routing requirements preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
