Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technology to connect therapists with clients. Your workspace will be equipped to facilitate secure and confidential virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to maintain flexibility while delivering essential mental health care. Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you will interact with clients via video or phone calls, providing support and guidance from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms exhibited by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their conditions.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care practices.

• Systematically track and evaluate client progress, ensuring treatment plans are continually adapted to maximize their effectiveness.

• Engage in integrated care approaches by coordinating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals involved in client care.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enrich therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs while working to destigmatize mental health challenges within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including marginalized groups such as the homeless, refugees, and those affected by domestic violence. The therapist's role is critical in providing tailored support to these vulnerable populations as they navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n
