Quality & Cost Control Specialist (Residential Construction)

Tilson Homes is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the Gulf Coast area as a Quality & Cost Control Specialist. Responsibilities Conduct jobsite audits to verify materials and compliance with plans. Review variance reports and identify trends or recurring issues. Work with Construction, Cost Management, Drafting, and other teams to resolve root-cause issues. Document material usage, waste, shortages, and excess. Support cost-control initiatives and quarterly review meetings. Travel regularly throughout Texas. Qualifications Strong knowledge of blueprints, construction details, and building materials. Clear communication and report-writing skills. Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Understanding of building codes and basic math (percentages, margins). Highly organized with strong time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile apps. 5+ years in homebuilding or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.
