Responsibilities

Draft and prepare pleadings, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.

Assist in preparing legal memoranda, state/federal/appellate pleadings, and ensure compliance with Bluebook citation and local court rules.

Proofread, finalize, and electronically file legal documents with courts and serve opposing counsel.

Gather, organize, and manage facts, evidence, exhibits, and case documents for litigation, discovery, and motion practice.

Support all phases of discovery, including document review, eDiscovery, Bates numbering, redaction, document production, and privilege log preparation.

Maintain, organize, and search legal databases and document management systems.

Communicate with clients and class members to collect information and provide case updates.

Prepare materials for depositions, mediations, oral arguments, hearings, and trials.

Organize trial exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and coordinate trial logistics.

Perform legal administrative duties, including document scanning, filing, e-filing, calendaring deadlines, word processing, and maintaining a paperless office.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred with 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.

Strong knowledge of state, federal, and appellate court rules, procedures, and ECF e-filing systems across multiple jurisdictions.

Proficient in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.

Experience drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and other litigation-related filings.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation support software.

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Maintains the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity while handling sensitive legal information.
