About the role:

The Senior Manager, Global Marketing Communications is a new role that will be responsible for improving and standardizing Digital Marketing for SM across regions, updating our brand messaging, and supporting Global product managers with asset creation.

This role demands a strong understanding of omnichannel campaign development and marketing technology, along with the ability to simplify complex medical concepts into clear and effective positioning and messaging. There is high collaboration required for this integrated role, working closely with the Platform marketing, Regional marketing and Corporate Digital functions to bring compelling guidance around maximizing lead generation, conversion and growth across SM categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• MarTech Standardization: Build a roadmap to standardize the MarTech stack and reporting KPIs across regions (global dashboard) and identify areas of opportunity

• Support the rollout of Optimizely across regions (currently used in US only) and facilitate campaign cross-sharing across regions

• Train on Omnichannel campaign development (BD Way of Marketing) and facilitate a monthly best practice sharing forum across regions, act as thought-partner for regions on digital campaign optimization

• Messaging : Lead development of cross-product Global messaging initiatives, partnering closely with platform marketers and cross-functional leaders to support business needs

• Asset Creation: Work with global platform marketers on their asset creation needs, including agency selection and management, ensuring brand standards, coordinating reviews, supporting proper roll out

• Coordinate reviews in Veeva PromoMats - utilizing QC checklist to ensure all guidelines are met before sending to MLR

• Support global BD Learning Academy course development and sharing, in partnership with the Clinical Marketing and Training teams

• Help manage global LSM and SA discretionary spend budgets

• Stay current on new and cutting-edge communication technologies and channels; develop and maintain a pool of reliable, highly skilled creative services agencies

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 5 years of integrated communications experience within the healthcare industry

• At least 3 years of digital marketing experience within the healthcare industry

• Must have experience with Optimizely, or similar campaign management tools

• Experience leading omnichannel campaign strategy development

• Well organized, disciplined planner and leader of change

• Demonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results

• Innovative and creative thinker and problem solver who can manage the details without losing sight of the goal

• Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Experience with Veeva PromoMats strongly desirable
• Experience working within the Adobe Experience Suite of products (AEM, AA, Target and Marketo)
• Experience with Salesforce CRM
