AR Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a temp AR specialist to join our clients team. You will reporting to the Accounting Manager. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $25 to $28 per hour. Responsibilities Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts. Communicate discrepancies to the management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates. Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts. Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement. Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment. Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong math, typing, and computer skills. Ability to learn and use our system/software. Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Attention to detail.
