Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of new patients to assess their functional capacity, physical abilities, and orthopedic conditions, creating tailored treatment plans that emphasize recovery.
• Utilize a range of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and cutting-edge modalities to treat conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, providing education about their conditions, setting achievable goals, and instructing them on exercises to do at home to enhance their recovery.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as orthopedic specialists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Fit To Stretch Rehab Center, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population with various orthopedic conditions, ranging from young athletes to older adults recovering from surgery. Our patients come to us seeking effective solutions to improve their quality of life, and as their therapist, you will play an integral role in their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Nevada PT license or eligibility to obtain one is required for this position.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and a strong desire to assist individuals in achieving their personal health and wellness goals.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic practice is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
