Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

ProFlex Sports and Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Boulder City, Nevada. Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will operate in a well-equipped clinic designed specifically for rehabilitation. With a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will find a healthy work-life balance while maintaining a fast-paced environment that allows for approximately two patients per hour. Our team-oriented approach means you will have the opportunity to collaborate with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare specialists to create effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with various orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions to determine functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that restore mobility, enhance strength, and improve overall physical function for patients.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and evidence-based rehabilitation approaches tailored to individual patient needs.
• Facilitate post-operative rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, ensuring a smooth transition from surgery to mobility restoration.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper movement mechanics, and effective home exercise programs to promote ongoing recovery and health maintenance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment modifications in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring clarity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to promote optimal outcomes for each individual.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes managing sports-related injuries, and those dealing with chronic orthopedic conditions. You will play a critical role in their recovery process by providing personalized care that fosters not only healing but also the achievement of their functional goals.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Nevada is required.
• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy is required to qualify for this position.
• Demonstrated passion for patient care, rehabilitation practices, and a commitment to continued professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in orthopedic settings or familiarity with sports medicine is highly desirable and considered a valuable asset for the role.
• Proficiency with EMR systems is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
