Work Environment

This onsite position is located in our modern rehabilitation center in Henderson, Nevada, known for its vibrant community and commitment to health and wellness. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a collaborative atmosphere that promotes teamwork and professional development. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions to identify individual goals and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and customized exercise programs, seeing an average of 2-3 patients per hour.
• Employ a range of orthopedic treatment techniques aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and function.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process to maximize their performance and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
• Document patient progress meticulously and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Analyze treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health, including strength and flexibility exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. We aim to reduce the reliance on medication and provide alternatives to surgical interventions through evidence-based therapy practices. You will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse patient demographics, tailoring your approach to meet their individual histories, needs, preferences, and goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Nevada Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and exercise techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ideally WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Demonstrable success in developing and managing individualized patient care plans.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits
